Presented almost entirely without comment…
Once in a great while during our meanderings the Tour comes across a picture which so delights us that we cannot wait to put it through the rigorous process of integration into the monsoon of imagery which comprises the Tour. It’s not from The Chase per se, although it’s definitely from the period and is so reminiscent of the coda for Ian and Barbara’s exit from the series at the end of that story that a comparison is inevitable.
It’s just a great image for both Hill and Russell, wouldn’t you agree?
