Heaven Sent

Peter Capaldi’s Doctor, the 12th or the 14th (or 2.1 if you think about it) was something of a throwback to earlier Doctor Who eras, right down to his own Master in the form of Michelle Gomez.

Even within the Capaldi era there were sub-eras focused on his companions Jenna Coleman and Pearl Mackie.
