Some holidays mesh better with Doctor Who than others. Christmas has already been thoroughly owned, but Easter figuratively and literally sits at the other end of the scale. It must be a sign of creeping senility that we here at the Tour didn’t make other, more tenuous connections, to the holiday.
Namely, rabbits.
David Tennant ran across a fairly large one which he briefly mistook for a Zygon in The Day of the Doctor, and it was Tegan’s favorite faux-expletive of frustration during her travels with the fifth Doctor.
Wasn’t that hard after all was it?
The Tour now turns it skeptical eye towards Mother’s Day. We suspect Father’s Day will be a bit easier to find connections for.
