The announcement that The Star Beast will be airing on November 25th in effect forces a decision here at THT Worldwide, one which we may amend as events warrant.
We are calling the ‘3-peat’ of stories airing in November and December ‘David Tennant‘ stories. Shocking we know, but for now, we will be grouping ‘The Star Beast,’ ‘Wild Blue Yonder,’ and ‘The Giggle’ in with the Tennant-classic run, or in other words, as 11th Doctor stories.
We have our skepticism, despite numerous protestations to the contrary, about the whole 14th Doctor business, none of which has anything to do with the Tour’s own pedantry on the subject. We do understand that an explanation will be forthcoming somewhere along the line about how this will all work–we suspect something along the lines for Peter Capaldi and The Fires of Pompeii–but eventually you have to make a decision, and now we’ve made it.
