Now the Countdown truly begins with the drop of the first trailer for the Anniversary specials coming in November. Is David Tennant the 14th Doctor (Tour caveats not withstanding), a reconstituted 10th (ditto), or something else? Are these ‘specials’ truly part of Series 14 or are they their own stand-alone arc? The Tour now suspects, more than ever before, that it knows where all of this is going, but in the end …
Who cares? After nearly a year (and really closer to two) Doctor Who is peeking out from the parapets of popular culture, and ain’t that grand? In accordance with Tour tradition, we’ve hastily thrown together a set of capsto commemorate the occasion, with the caveat that these are temporary creatures, all cute and cowering in a closet corner.
It’s good to be back on the clock again.
