In the spirit of the holidays, the last (and best) of our Favorite Things over the past year is a true stocking stuffer, small and compact and best off all, unexpected. The Night of the Doctor was that gem, and important for so many reasons, filling in an important gap in Who history and providing an important and welcome bridge between the old world and the new, and all done in less seven minutes.
Amongst the other amazing things in Doctor Who in this anniversary year, who knew that we would get to see three regenerations in such a short span of time? We’ve updated the gallery for The Night of the Doctor a little, but this was, by a lot, easily our Favorite Thing of the year.
