One of the stretch goals the Tour had to bridge the extended gap between the end of the Capaldi era and the beginning of the Whittaker-sance was to clean out all of the build-up that accretes from the day-to-day scouring of the interwebs.
And while we’re not quite there … yet, there was another mild milestone the Tour did surmount, namely that the Tour now contains 300,000 images.
It took nearly 5 years for the Tour to hit 10,000 images, and we last noted a milestone at the conclusion of Series 9 when 250,000 was achieved. Sure it’s just a number, but it’s a really, really, nice, notable, round one.
And wouldn’t you know, the 300,000th image is helpfully displayed over yonder.
