Every once in a while it hits me.
I’ve been at this Doctor Who ‘thing’ now for 25 years, having started back in 1981 watching WHA in Madison, WI. But recently I had an opportunity to do something I hadn’t done in many years, I reunited with a group of friends, Who fans all, whom I hadn’t seen in over ten years. Back in the day we made Doctor Who fan videos (for which this is the subtle link). We had our fun, and then, as these things tend to happen, went different ways. Careers, marriage, and family tend to do that.
Still for one day, and who knows maybe more, we talked about 20 years ago, what we had forgotten, or chosen to forget–but much more about events remembered. And for us at least–the best part of all is that we have the tape discs to prove it
