Perhaps every group has a story that goes like this, i.e. a video with a very long gestational cycle from beginning to end.  Without a Who--based on the theatrical feature Without a Clue, began life in July 1991 as a very strong conceptual script.   One day of location shooting was completed when Bart abandoned shooting.   And there the idea sat.. for about six years. 

Rumors began circulating in mid 1997 that Bart was getting pestered by Pete and Debby about finishing Without a Who.  With little fanfare, and noting that the remainder of the shooting script only required a reasonably small core of actors to finish the project, production was completed in the early autumn 1997.  It is now regularly regarded as one of our best productions.

Synopsis:  The 3rd Doctor, along with Jo, captures an arch-villain.   Only one problem, Jo hasn't declared the case closed.  The Doctor and Jo fight and go their separate ways.  The Doctor decides to become a detective while Jo just can't get any respect.  When the Master appears ready to cause mayhem, the reunite to vanquish the foe, and develop a new understanding about their respective roles
