It all started with two companions, one boy--complete with gawd-awful Scottish accent, and one "girl"--in fact another boy with the balloon scars too prove it.  Along with their faithful sock puppet Eric and the occasional help of a terribly accident-prone friend named Adric, they blazed a trail of madness and insanity for almost five years from 1986 to 1991, briefly returning in 1997 to reassure the masses of their legend.

So who were these guys?  The pomposity of the above paragraph aside, we are (more probably were) MUM Productions, an outgrowth of the Twin Cities (arguably) most popular Doctor Who club of the period, Mini-UNIT. MUM, an acronym for Mini-UNIT Minstrels, made 8 Doctor Who fan videos between 1986 and 1991 and another in 1997 for a total of 9 (How do you make a video?--It's not what you might think..)

Within these pages you will find details about our plucky little band of video makers, the videos we made, a word or two about the people who made them, and for the truly bold, details on how to order our productions for your very own.  Just for grins will throw in a mini-analysis of our work there was done some years back and provide some links to other Doctor Who fan video sites.

New in advance of Doctor Who's 40th Anniversary, and MUM's 17th, we have re-launched the site at a new address and are announcing MUM Videos on DVD for the first time!  Check out the order page for details.
